Home / How it works
How renting from us works
Six steps, no surprises. The parts people ask about most, delivery and insurance, have their own sections below.
- 1
Ask for a quote
Send the machine, the dates and the job address through the quote form or by email. We reply the same business day with a written quote: rate, delivery, damage waiver and the total for your dates.
- 2
Open an account
First-time customers complete a short credit application or rent on a card. Repeat customers are on net-30 terms with a signed rental agreement on file.
- 3
Delivery
Our drivers deliver on lowboys and tilt-decks from Monday to Saturday. You get a two-hour window the afternoon before and a text when the truck leaves the yard. The driver walks the machine with you and both of you sign the condition report.
- 4
On rent
Hours bill against the allowance on your rate. Breakdowns that are not caused by misuse are swapped or repaired at our cost, and the rental clock stops while the machine is down.
- 5
Calling it off
Email or call the office to take a machine off rent. The clock stops at the time you call it off, not when the truck arrives. We pick up within two business days.
- 6
Return and invoice
The machine is inspected against the delivery report. The final invoice shows hours, fuel and any damage with photos. Net-30 customers are invoiced monthly; card customers are charged at return.
What you need to rent

Delivery and service area
We deliver from the yard in Corona on our own lowboys and tilt-decks, Monday to Saturday, with our own drivers. The afternoon before, dispatch texts a two-hour window; the morning of, you get a text when the truck leaves the yard. The driver unloads, walks the machine with your operator, and both sign the condition report with photos.
Pickup at the yard is by appointment for machines that fit a customer trailer. We check the tow vehicle and trailer rating and tie down the load; you are responsible for the machine from the moment it leaves the lot.
Four zones cover Riverside and San Bernardino counties, Orange County, Los Angeles and the high desert, and on request San Diego County, the Coachella Valley, Santa Clarita and Bakersfield.

Damage waiver and insurance
Damage waiver
14% of the rental charge. Limits what you owe for accidental damage to $2,500 per incident. It does not cover theft from an unsecured site, overturns, operation in water, misuse, or tire and glass damage.
Your own insurance
Decline the waiver by sending a certificate naming BRADLEY TRACTOR EQUIPMENT ZONE LLC as loss payee and additional insured, with equipment floater coverage at the machine's replacement value and $1,000,000 general liability.
Theft
Machines over 8 tons carry GPS tracking. Keep keys off the machine, use the ignition disable we show you at delivery, and report a theft within 24 hours.
Breakdowns and service
Call or email the office the moment a machine stops. A field mechanic is dispatched the same day on most calls; three service trucks cover the zones. If the machine cannot be repaired on site we swap it, and the rental clock stops from the time of your call until the replacement is running. Damage from misuse, running without fluids, or operating outside the manual is repaired at your cost and documented with photos before the work starts.
Calling a machine off
Email or call the office to take a machine off rent. The clock stops at the time of your call, not when the truck arrives. Pickup is within two business days; if we are late past that, the days are on us. Leave the machine where the truck can reach it, with the key in the lockbox and the fuel level noted.
